Methodological development of NDT measurement capabilities using Muon Flux Technology
RUP3 — Development and Validation of NDT Scanner
Grant: Estonian Business and Innovation Agency, “Programme for applied research (small projects with support up to 150 000 euros)”
Related solutions: μFLUX Infra
Period: 04.07.2023 - 31.03.2024
Cost of contract: US$ 306k
Description: The project has three main objectives:
Establish the relationship between the size of scannable objects, measurement accuracy (differentiation of materials and damages/geometrical precision), and the duration of measurements.
Validate the results of studies conducted by GScan. The object will be demolished after the measurements, providing the first opportunity to compare the results of measurements performed under real conditions with the actual condition of the object of interest.
Improve the hardware/software produced by GScan (such as autonomous hardware power and weather resistance) and achieve export readiness. Working on the test object ensures the best possible input for implementing improvements.
